Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce long-term club partners Business Telco Ltd have further enhanced their partnership with the Iron, by becoming the new shorts sponsors for the 2022/23 season.

The Iron has enjoyed a long and successful working relationship with Sarah Hall of Business Telco, since 2013 when they became the official club telecoms partner. Throughout the past decade, Business Telco have supported many of United’s commercial ventures, including sponsorship of the club’s manager, matchday sponsorship, calendar advertising and perimeter board advertising.

Business Telco is a business telecoms specialist based in Scunthorpe, who aim to offer the best customer experience and one stop shop for all communication needs. The thriving local company provides unique telecoms solutions to businesses of all sizes.

The partnership between the club and Business Telco will extend beyond the sponsorship, as joint networking ventures for local businesses are planned in the future. This is in addition to Sarah being actively involved with the acquisition of other commercial partners for the club.

Chief Operating Officer Lee Turnbull said: “We are delighted to further extend our excellent partnership with Business Telco through this new sponsorship deal. The two parties have a very strong relationship and I’d like to personally thank Sarah on behalf of the club for all the help she’s given us during the summer months additionally.”

Sarah Hall said: “It is a real pleasure to continue our support of the club, having been a fan since the Old Show Ground days. We are loyal Iron fans. When the opportunity was presented to us to sponsor the shorts we were delighted to accept. The club is a massive part of the local community. Although things haven’t gone as well as hoped in recent times, by continuing and furthering our partnership with the Iron, we want to demonstrate our continued support as we all strive for the good times to return again.”
