Levi Gallimore netted the only goal of the game as United emerged on top in their latest game of pre-season away at Barnsley on Saturday.
He fed onto a through ball from Miracle Okafor to slot in to give the academy side the victory against the Category Two side - one which beat the Iron 6-0 only 12 months ago.
In what was a good team performance, the Iron took the game to their opposition and produced the match winning strike after 35 minutes.
